Washington 1992, Alex Scott, ex-US Special Forces turned author, finds himself investigating long-forgotten rumours of German U-boats secretly anchored off the coast of England shortly before the end of the Second World War.

Realising he has revealed a multi-government cover-up, Alex begins a quest to find the truth that leads him from the quiet English village of Bishops-Grove to the other side of the world, in suburban New Zealand.

Meanwhile, an ex-Special Forces colleague who blames Alex for the end of his military career will stop at nothing to make Alex’s existence a living hell.
